Slow Motion

I opened the door,
That’s when it came,
Slow motion has hit me once more.

The birds stopped their flight,
Dullness came to life,
I heard angels awe,
When they too saw this sight.

What a perfect body,
With a scholar’s mind,
Michaelangelo would envy,
My precious find.

Her beautiful smile,
Sure to always be sincere,
I know why everyone she’s around
Would always want her near.

Those many things about her,
Defiantly set my heart on fire,
When I’m with her, I feel no pain,
She shines with sunlight, through a day of rain.

Even though this time was slow motion,
It seemed like the next thing I knew,
I kissed her good-bye,
The birds took-off in flight,
The dullness returned,
And the angels watched her to the car,
As we all await for slow motion to return.
