There are some things that I buy for superficial reasons, while there are
others I contemplate for days or seasons. Waterproof Mascara is a thing I
buy, even though I never understood exactly why.

I consider costs and why it's needed but some are just for a simple
reason. Whether it's an outfit, a gift, or a simple book all that is
important is the thought that is took. The reason it's bought, why
it's needed, it all depends on the season.

Your life has seasons, times of change, times when things aren't quite
the same. Times when people need different things, times when you can lose
everything. As time goes by, you will realize that the things you buy might
leave your side. The people you love are just the same they come, go and
leave you pain. The ones you thought would always stay, were the ones that
left you in the rain.

The run of life, that long hard road, it's hard to follow, it's
hard to know. But I know now that it's ok to cry because I think about
the things I buy. I choose my love, I choose my friends and when I lose one
the others will hold my hand. And when I hold my head to cry I thank God
that I think of the things I buy.

I've thought of it all, I've planned ahead, Waterproof Mascara
what a simple thought but it keeps your eyes dry through every feeling,
through every thought and each rainy season.
