It doesn’t seam fair
Some of us go about our days as if we will live forever
And for some that luxury is true
For others the end is too close to the beginning
Forced into a forfeit before the game began
It doesn’t seam fair
How some of us are born with presents under the tree
And some with bills that could use help paying
Maybe in the end, all things are fair and true
But it’s so hard to see
When every time I open my eyes, I feel so blind
Because every time I try to do my best
It isn’t good enough
When should I stop trying? When do I give up?
Some will live with wonder
And none will every know
But some can just be satisfied without the need to know
