At that party

Things got out of control

There was something in my drink
I couldn't think he said
He would take me straight home
He's my lovers bestfriend

Instead he took me to a room
Up the stairs
In a bed
I couldn't stop what he was doing
I just wished that I was dead

My life was written on the walls
My respect was strewn across the floor
A piece of me died right there
right then
And never would I be pure again

Keeping quiet and still shedding tears
I go on living
Passing these years
Hoping one day my lover will see
And know about the day his bestfriend raped me
