He sent me you
He said you would be with me
And help me through
And show me the feelings I never knew
From that day on my life’s been different
You’ve shown me everything
That he had said you would
And you've shown me so much more
You've shown me things like love and friendship
Things I’ve never known before
You’ve shown me that it's good to be myself
And that I can be loved for who I am
You've taught me that I can be happy
Even without the friendship of others
You've shown me that people do judge others
And that I can be okay with it
You've shown me all these things
And so much more
But there’s one thing I’ll never forget
And that’s how you've shown me love
For once when I hear you say "I love you"
I know for sure its true
And I just want you to know
I really love you too
Now I sit here wondering
What I would do without you
And what life would have been like
But for once I don’t think I want to know
