Think Twice

Locked in the dark
No place to go
This is a good time
To let the blood flow
Trembling with fright
She pulls out her knife
She is ready
To take her own life
She’s sick of the people
Their judgements and their lies
She tries to think of any good things
As she sits there and cries
She can’t think of anything
Except a past full of pain
There’s nothing to lose
There’s nothing to gain
As the cold metal touches her warm skin,
She thinks again
Maybe it’s not her time to go
Her heart will let her know when
Taking the knife away from her skin,
She changes her mind in a glance
She knows she doesn’t really wanna die
She decides to give the world another chance…
