Nothing is as it seems
I thought I could walk away from this
But something keeps me going back
To you- the one I need to walk away from
I never thought I could miss you as much as I do
I know that you don’t feel the same
Because the silence from you consumes me
And makes me feel empty
You do not know how much I care for you
And I’m too ashamed to say anything
I just wish that things could be different
But wishing is just an empty dream
Only time will be able to heal
All the damage that I have done
But I just want you to know
That I love you
And I miss you
