Death can be cruel
Hardly ever kind
See the problem with Death
Is that it can come at any time
There’s no chance to go back
To change things around
For the rest of eternity
You’ll be six feet underground
You’ll lie in a box
And sleep with the worms
Forget about hearing
Another person’s words
The life you lived
You should have lived well
Because that is the deciding factor
Of whether or not you will burn in Hell
For Death is dark
And Death is black
Once it has come
You can never go back
Some words of wisdom I must say
Is to make your life worth living
For Death you see
Is never forgiving
If you listen closely for off in the distance
You can hear Death’s bells tolling for someone again
And just like that person’s life
My poem has come to its dark and bitter end.
