While You Were Out

his father left him,
he was five years old.
his mother loves him
but he's getting old, now.
nineteen,
living life out shyly
he's been pretty lively,
i don't think of him so highly.

we met at a taco bell
depressive,
he seemed to tell
a story,
back then it didn't bore me,
and he, in fact, adored me,
too bad we ended up
so poorly.

8 months continued
and his mother had
issues
with me-
always
she had to diss me
maybe she should have
kissed me-
recently admitted to me
thoughts she's kept
so secretly

her son,
with whom i'm done,
has no clue,
since he's been gone,
the things that have
gone on-
maybe i'll be the one
to tell him
now,
i'm sleeping with his mom!
