The Sun & Moon; Unforgiven

The sun hides away from me
And the moon holds no shame
For leaving me here to remain by myself
For leaving me here with the blame

Pain fills my heart, and tears fill my eyes
I ask forgiveness for what I've done
But alas; the moon just laughs in my face
As pitiless as the sun

Gone forever are those bright days I had
I see no more star filled skies
Darkness surrounds my blackened heart
...More tears bleed from my eyes

A heart of stone I've had all along
You always said that it was true
A tear, you said, I would never cry
Well now I cry for you

I fear I have lost you forever
I feared this from the start
When the sun and moon would leave me
With this pain I hold in my heart

I fear you have put me long out of your memory
I fear that you left me far behind
I fear you don't remember the love we once had
That it's now out of your heart, out of your mind

The moon and sun are lifeless now
But if only they could see
That I once found them beautiful
I once had you love me

The sun and moon slowly pass me by
Whilst they fill my mind with screaming
That until I feared I would lose you; I never loved you
For one does not love breathing
