Why Not Be Left-Handed; Be Like Me?

So things are going
down down downhill
in the house.

Family issues are thick with lies
and tied on the ends.
I think everyone is soon to
understand
what goes on in my mind.
I think everyone is soon to
find out
my fragile core that I hide
inside my padded shell.
Padded with ignorance
and innocence.

I don't think it's that innocent,
anymore.
Not as soon as they find
the bleach-
my failure to believe
I am, in any way, wrong.

And they say left-handed
are of the devil;
because being right-handed
is the norm.
