I

Stand in front of a mirror--
Picture perfect form of you--
Look deep inside that soul--
For the remaining sanity--
Residing inside you, dear--
Long forgotten innocence killed by fear--
Blindly stored away in your eyes--
Do you hate what you see?--
The empty shell of human carcass--
Looking back from the frozen Hell--
Do you hate the man looking back at you?--

I do...

I hate him.

Feelings stored away blindly.
I hate those eyes staring back.
Those empty tears glinting in the dark.
I try to laugh with all my might.
He seems to cry in broad daylight.
Back at me...teasing me.
Breaking me, slashing me, killing me.
Stabbing me.
Can't you see? The disgusting thing
I am I show, hidden behind a pane of glass.
