A Friend?

Inside you feel so different
like you've never felt before
inside of you lies a heart
kindness buried at the core

everyone can see you
no one sees invisible
No dark hole to meet you
all that matters is your soul

see the shadows calling
silence beacons at your face
no one ever stops to wonder
if your in the wrong place

no matter how I see you
you always show your own desire
at the center of your heart
lays a small and growing fire

no matter how I see you
you're always standing at my side
even when I see you smiling
I always know that you have lied

~Authors Note~
This poem is dedicated to an old
friend. Hopefully one day
she will realize exactly whats
important, and start making the
right decisions. And realize how
badly she really did make me feel.
