Moment Lost

Say good bye to tomorrow, yet tomorrow might never come
Our moment lost forever, for I am so numb
The dreadful summers of the wind that blew
Those blissful nights that I used to spend with you
Moment lost, to a voice that silenced, to a place that no longer exists, to
a sound that no longer has noise and to something my heart will always
rejoice

These places have moved and yet still in my memory,
These places of love, joy, and sweet melody.

The past in your eyes and the future in disguise
oh what a plentiful summer day gone and now set in lies
No more red roses or sweet notes at your door, nothing clearer than one’s
mind at war

To speak for one, one speaks for all
A moment lost how will we endure
the Past in shadows and the future in perception
The past full of love and the future far from redemption

The moment lost speaks of lost memory
The moment caught speaks of profound harmony
As dead to me as you are alive
Just like my moment lost
I will try to survive
