The kings of Normandy aligned.
The suns eclipsed.
The voices stifled.

"Paint these castles red".

Like bloodshed
t'was but done.

Like hills he sat.
Like sky he sought.
Like distance waited.
Like human, felt.

Cast no line to aid his hook;
A semblance flushed too late.
And now,

We reach like soldiers
bourne of blood.
And die at castle's gate
