That Sad Summer Song

Summer is soon gone
She has yet to sing her song
Of anger and pain
The boy is to blame

For the truth was shattered
And lies were left to gleam
Her heart was poisoned
Of that summer fling

Yet there was still time left
Her thoughts didn't leave
So she soon made her dream
A reality

So she sang that sad song
And she sang it to his face
She let this boy know
That he was the mistake

"So you crossed my heart
Now I hope you die
But I'll stab you just once
Do you wonder why"?

And thats just what she did
She stab him just once
Straight through his heart
And as she sang her sad summer song
He gracefully fell apart.
