SuperMan (Part II)

First time I flew over the heavens,
There must have been a rush
But now flying, tired, toward the sun
Over this retched sea
Superman asked himself
Is this all worth it, if not,
Will this ever be mine?

Flying fast over god’s creation
Flying free towards that sun
My life is never ending
My pain has just begun

As time falls back into time
And as I fall back into history
I leave, to first, rest, as I proceed on to my next
Inevitable mystery.

These tired and broken days have prolonged my
Vision deeply
These hard and endless fights
Have quickened steeply
But I as superman am created to last
For my weakness will never cast

Fight after fight and no scars to show for it
Whatever scar has been placed has been sealed inside

To a bitter never ending
And this fight there is no end
I will scrape away this finish line
Because I am fighting till the end
