When we met it was pure bliss
as we laid and slowly kissed
dreaming of growing old together
toughen out the worst of weather
loving you as you love me
starring ,watching
peacefully

somewhere it went wrong
I suppose we've been together too long
maybe we were just blind at first
but now we seem to seperate
altho you declare
"This is love"

is it love?
when I kiss your lips
and not a single spark ignites

is it love?
when I look into your eyes
and there's nothing there to see
nothing but my own mistakes
starring back at me

is it love?
when I press against your chest
and there's no sound
no beating of a heart

is it love?
when we hug
and I still feel alone

is it love?
when I hear you say
you love me
and I just cant reply

I think its time
time to let go
go of the past and move away slow
love is temperamental
and triggers oh so slightly

parting ways would seem so bleak
but this is a promise we must keep
Never forget the good times we had
just dont ignore the horribly bad
