Angels come on broken wings
Screams carried on the Northen Breeze
Hands grab and reach
Limbs and fingers trapped in the trees
Winters come to greet the pain
Numb and frozen by diease
Angels fallen to their knees
Cast out by the hand of God
To make a final penance on a place
Controled by power, greed and gold
Wander past their hands
The broken hands of giving up
Becoming one with the only thing right
The nture God made; He is Father
And they join the trees; their brothers
Travel to the Temple
Where it is bare and empty
But for a single child
Standing silently, her heart shown
Like opened doors
Inside lay God upon His true throne
She kneels before the bleeding cross
Cries to God to let her go
Release her from this evil world
The figure of Jesus cries
Blood streams down His face
As He beholds a real worshipping place
He looks upon this single child
Who has seen the world and all its lies
She is one of His fallen
An angel with broken wings
Condemned to live
To feel pain and stripped from happiness
He knows that this world she'll never understand
And take her life by her own hand
Because she knows its not right
She's an angel who can not take flight
Jesus raises His head to the sky
And lets out a terrible cry
"O God, why did i save this earth
If this little child was scared at birth
She was never meant to cry
So why cant this little angel fly"
The little girl could not see
The Lord or His broken plee
The Temple doors opened wide
She fell upon her knees
But then confort came
On that cold Northern Breeze
Created by the heartache of
The angels who have lost their wings
