Our love was a bond that should had never been broken
We just used this word- these four letters in vain
We never thought of each other's feelings and how we've caused so
much pain
Our love gave me a special feeling that made me all warm inside
That was the true feeling of love I just couldn't hide

Now from the hugs, kisses, and the sweet words that were always spoken
Our love made me feel as if I'd been smoking that good stuff that kept
me on cloud nine
Our love wasn't the best but the love was there and that helped me push
away all my fears but didn't keep away the tears
The tears that have been shed throughout the days and nights from the long
and unwanted fights
Unwanted games being played by both players of the game, lies being told but
not meant to hurt the feelings kept inside, tricks are for kids you silly
lovers!
You just don't think about that...your only thinking about what's
under the cover

Knowing that what doesn't kill us will only make us stronger made us
ask "Should we be together any longer"?
We only got answers that we didn't ask questions for...maybe just maybe
our bond should have never been broken!
Our love wasn't as strong as we thought is was for it was stronger than
you and I and that's why I said "I Love You"
Now and forever I'll say I Love You because it is true!

We started of with one bond and we ended with two!
