Save It For Another Night

When I looked into your eyes
I saw vanilla skies
Deep muted hues of purple and pink
And I can't help to think
If we are on the same track
Because I don't want to go back
When words sprang from your lips
All other sound was dismissed
And I sat there in auditory bliss
I never knew peace like this could exist
It hurts like looking at a sun flare
But yet I still want to stare
Into your gorgeous eyes
They make me paralyzed
With hopes of what could be
With dreams that make me fell free
There are thoughts in my head
Of all the things I should have said
And of things I should have done
To make me feel as if your heart I have won
Make you follow me out in the rainfall
Pretending that we are at a ball
Parade you around in the puddles
Then we'd start to cuddle
Close as we began our waltz
We forget all our faults
and splash to the beat
As the drops hit the street
I snap out of my dream
and I see your face beam
You'll say you'll see me again
Maybe my heart will mend
