It doesn't seem so long ago
That I looked at you from here
You were overcastt by the sun
I tried to cut out your silhouette
With my eyes as I stared at you
Now when I look into your eyes
floods of memories wash over my mind
And It's been a long time since
I saw you throw your hair
Off your shoulder in the moon light
And It's been so long since
There were those silent intense moments
That would scream out in romance
I can't remember the long conversations
Just what passed through your lips
I can't recall the midnight drives in your car
When it would cut through the air like a knife
Only where we would always find ourselves at the end
Brush your hand against my ear
Release me from these Constant reminiscents
Of this Wonderful life that I have made up
Of one way mirrors and ripped corners of love letters
I need to remember how to forget you
