So I looked you deep in your eyes
I saw right through that big ass lie
So I cussed you out and told you what was on my mind
I said sh!t that no other chick would be bold enough to say
But damn I still wanted to hold you
Still wanted to kiss you
Talking all of this sh!t made me want you even more
Even though I wanted you so damn bad I knew what I had to do
So I told you to leave-told you to walk out the door
You didn’t say anything you just looked at me and headed for the door
I knew that if you walked out that door my heart will just sink to the
floor
So right before you stepped outside I took a deep breath and pushed all the
anger to the side.
I slowly opened my mouth and the words began to glide towards to your ears.
I let my words...my sweet words that were just as sharp as a knife, soothed
you into stayin the night!

As the morning sun began to rise you looked my deep in the eyes...

And I looked you deep in your eyes to where your soul was and to my surprise
your eyes showed me nothing close to a lie but the future
