You wish you were here
But you don’t try
To be by my side

You wish I were happy
But you don’t care
When I’m not there

You say I’m on your mind always
But your attention span
Is just to short

You pretend I’m “The One”
But then you act
Like I’m just another

You pretend I’m by your side
But the only thing there
Is an empty space…
