i finally smiled today
things get better day by day
my heart is brighter colors now
because of the love i’ve found
its not in you or her or him
its a love that comes from within
i had to learn to love myself
and not to put my feelings on the shelf
im becoming a whole person again
and i hope that one day you and i’ll be friends
until that day comes
i want you to know what i’ve become
im now a whole, not half of you
but i promise, ill always love you
