I took the glass and cut myself,
Just to see how much it would bleed,
Except the only fear I had, was that I would succeed.
I sat there for a second, and watched the red drops roll,
Never even thinking that my life could be the toll.
I dropped the glass, and thought of you,
Confused, I didn't know what to do.
I ran to be close to you, but you weren't there...
It hurt me more to think that you didn't care
But you came to me, and your words soothed my heart,
you put back together, what had fallen apart.
I never meant to hurt you, and I never will again,
These promises I'll keep, and I promise no more pain
