Asleep Finally

The Angels silently scream
The children dying; bleeding
Crying over washes the pain
The blood droplet comes again
From behind the porcelain mask
The perfect face
The screams once more interrupted by
The murmurings of fright
Trying to find the door out of the blackest night
Eyes close once more to the
Screams of Satan's devices
Pray to the One who saves
Hear His Angels scream again
Run away to escape the blood seeping in
From behind the porcelain mask
Built to protect the imperfect face
The blood wells behind her eyes
As the Pain she’s felt for years is finally gone
The screams disappear for a true moment of bliss
As over the cliffs she falls into the mist
Her back turned to the open air
She can’t stand it anymore; the screams in there
She leans back, the wind whips her 'round
And the bloodied mask floats softly away
As her body hits the ground
The monitor lets out a long beep
To her its sound is so sweet
The blood soaked face falls into the Abyss
For the first time truly asleep
