It's hard to say what you mean to me,
I search for a word, or a thought, or a sound.
I can't tell you, for fear of what you might say,
I want to be near you all of the time,
I want to hold you hand and call you mine,
But it will never happen, for I am too shy,
I keep my feelings hidden deep inside.
I look for a moment, an hour, a day
The perfect time that I can tell you how i feel.
It's not today, or tomorrow either.
Not next week, or the next year.
If I could have 5 minutes alone with you,
To reveal the feelings I have that are true.
You're amazing, and special in every way.
I love how you hug me and wrap your arms around me.
I know that one day I can tell you the true feelings I have,
But until that day, it will stay my hidden love.
