Sitting by the bedside,
No one seems to move,
A painstaking, longing urge to cry,
We all know there's not enough time for a real goodbye
You can tell by the look in her eyes that she not okay
Her breathing slowly lapses, her mouth is in delay
A river of tears flows down my face, her heartbeat grows to a non-existing
pace
Her body is left, but she is now gone
All of her features sink, from being perfectly drawn
Once a beautiful wife, mother
A sister a daughter, a neighbor, a lover.
Now her shell is left, there is nothing more
But the memories that she has shared, we will always adore.
