Drawing pictures in my head of things I can not see
hiding behind my beautiful imaginary paintings
fields of gold and silver
lined with glassy rivers
house the size of mansions
painted blue and white
gardens filled with roses
pinks and reds and whites
this pictures seem so perfect
and that my friends is why
this picture’s in my head.
Breath-taking views
hills of green lush grass
giving life to things newborn
dew drops on leaves
quenching the worlds thirst.
sunlight dancing across the horizon
waking the world
to a wonderous new day
bringing life into it
and taking it away
but always keeping things in balance
this picture in my head.
Laughter ringing thru the world
as well as cries
cries of sorrows, cries of joy
it gives the world emotion
bringing a smile upon my face
this world from inside me.
Its so amazing and exciting
then slowly I begin to see
that my dream is based on reality
and the world truly is this wonderous place
filled with people and with love
and even though there is the bad
its always balanced out
and good will always triumph
as long as I’m alive.
