I'd try to speak to you
But I wouldn't know what to say
I'd hug you
But I question the hug back
I'd write you a letter
But I doubt the write back
I'd call for you
But I wouldn't get a response
I'd try to hang-out with you
But I wouldn't expect that to happen
I'd smile at you
But expect no reaction
I'd sit alone with you in a room
But I'm worried of what I'd say
I'd try to be with you
But I don't think you'd want that nor do I know if I would either
I'd tell you I love you
But I know you'd laugh and say "I know"
I'd shed a tear over you
But my question is
What good would that do to help get the point across
That I care for you
Since everything I do
Does nothing?
