See the light beyond the dark
Feel the pain inside of me
And my relief at being free
See the darkness in my heart
Feel the chill inside my soul
See the hope flee from my eye
And then tell me to stay around
Maybe you just like to see my cry
Whatever it is
You have to see
Holding tight is not right for me
I want to leave
To let my soul fly free
Do not think of me with a tear in your eye
But of the great times, and never wonder why
Why it had to be this way
You have to look on the bright side
