Every time I try to talk to you
You never listen to me
You always hear what you want to hear
And see what you want to see.
You always tell everyone
How bad things really are
But without you trying to fix them
We surely won’t get very far.
I didn’t ask you
To bring me into your life
It seems like all I’ve ever done
Is cause you too much strife.
That’s why I’m in such a big hurry
To get the Hell out of here
Once you finally get me out of your house
Your lives will be much more clear.
You ask me to do things for you
And I do them to the best of my ability
No matter how many things I do
You never stop to see.
I do what you ask
And I get it done quick
All the bitching you do
Just about makes me sick.
You sit back and wonder
Why I don’t want to come home
That’s because anything is better than being with you
That includes being alone.
As long as you treat me
The way that you do
I’ll lose all respect
And give a damn about you.
