Silent Scream While You Change

Reaching out,
trying to grasp onto reality,
scream and shout,
and yet you don't acknowledge me,
I trusted you,
further than I could throw you,
What was going through my mind?
It's those true friends I cannot find,
and when they're right within my reach,
the ones who love, the one's who teach,
Somehow I let them get away,
only to regret it another day,
While I'm sitting at home,
Trying to reach you on the phone,
but you aren't thinking of me,
You're too distracted by who you're with, what you see,
but next time you're out with "them",
just think of when you'll need a friend,
will they be there?
no,
Will they care?
no,
Will I?
not anymore...:-(
