As I sit and listen to the waves,
Calling me back home,
I pray Dear God don't let me go,
I don't want to be alone,

I sit right here awaiting thee,
Wondering about tomorrow,
Hoping to just one day see,
Your true heart I may borrow,

If only You, or Your Love could carry,
To a place where I feel safe,
Oppossed to where I am right now,
If only to see Your face,
