Arriving at the airport,
About a half past seven,
Checking in my baggage,
Nothing at all like heaven,
A porter there, he helped me,
Lifting bags of weight,
Asked me where I'm going,
My ticket said the state,
Papers were exchanged,
Money handled too,
What a crazy riot,
The airport human zoo,
Departing the loading zone,
Heading for the gate,
An awakening surprise,
My head began to ache,
The ticket agent told me,
You're 15 min. late,
You're plane has since departed,
Oh for goodness sake,
Emotions soaring big time,
I wanted just to scream,
I took a seat instead,
Upon my bags I leaned,
Seats were over booked,
They put me on stand -by,
All that I could do,
Was sit and wonder why,
Watching people traveling,
Going every where,
Didn't seem to me,
They even had a care,
I wondered right that moment,
If others even knew,
Their at the craziest home,
The Airport human zoo.~*.....
