Infuriating problems now boil to the surface,
A long since contained scream lashing out,
Echoing in the silence surrounding the night,
As the scream fades frustration breaks cover,
The crystalline mask shatters with a last note,
A demon rising from the long bloodied ash,
Time beats out a slowed and deadly pace,
Pausing for a moment in the oppressive air,
Paralyzed with stiffened anger let loose,
Once pent up for so long and now freed,
Suddenly silence breaks in the dark night,
A roar released to fly free with harsh truth,
Emotions fly unbound from the broken cage,
With them an earth shaking sound of anger,
The sound slowly grows quiet in the night,
But never does it fade from the memory.
