I wish i may i wish i might
not upon a star this night
but upon my heart so true
i wish, i plead for just one clue
a hint at who im supoosed to be
thats all i want, cant you see?
I look not to the heavens for the answer thus sought
for the heavens no me not
I look not to the sun, the moon, the sky nor the sea
to answer this question seeded deep within me
i seek the guidance of one long cast aside
i seek the help long denied
i go to see no cold shoulder here
for i will always take myself back
no answer found, for this question so long a thorn in my side
but i again i shall try
and yet again i shall fail
for not even i, with heart so true
can depict what i was meant to do.
