Our Angel From Hell

Souls lay in piles
Among the earth
Awashed with crimson hope
Their eyes staring into fraud
Fate has caught them
Relieving them of their lives,
Family, feelings and freedom
They payed the cost
Threw in their toll
Risking everything for glory.
Seldom thoughts wisk through their minds
"Was it worth it?"
As demise sets in
For now we are not black, nor white
But only failures in our own game
Our angel from hell
Has taken us over again
She leaves with silence
And approaches with jealousy and hate
Only to despise our......your liberty once again

We never learn, and never will.
