Sunrise graced the rooftops,
Winter left us for a day,
As we depart those city streets,
In the meadow, did we play.

She knew me for my laughter,
I knew her just by face,
We talked so long of was to come,
The morning we erased.

Among the midday long grass,
we chased across the plain,
Collapsed into the others arms,
Silent in our games.

On afternoon's departure,
I reflected on the day,
We laughed and smiled so many times,
Will it always be this way?

The evening, even better,
For it contained her shame,
She knew me not the one she loved,
But kissed me, all the same.
