Last night I had a dream... And it woke me up in tears
A little girl is trapped...In the pain of her own fears
She wants to be better...But this is not for herself
She has always put...Her feelings on the shelf

But in this dream...She had a choice
Ta let it die...Or have a voice
She wanted to speak up...For all that is good
But she was scared...Not knowing if she should

She's always been afraid...To say how how she feels
She wants to please her family...To them she quietly kneels
But they just beat her down...until all she can do is give in
So she'll live her life in silence...While trapped in her own sin
