Taste The Rain

Time flies by,
As I stand still,
I'm awaiting the day,
When I can climb the hill,
I sit at the bottom,
And look up in fear,
Of losing everything,
That I have found here,
I want to go,
And fufill my dreams,
But life is just,
Mirrors, smoke, and color schemes,
I want to find the special place,
Where I can just be me,
I want to go so far away,
And see some true beauty,
But that would mean,
Leave you behind,
And you might be better,
Then anything I could find,
I guess I could take a chance,
And leave it all back home,
But I cannot leave one thing,
Without you, I'd be alone,
So hold me tight,
And don't let go,
I need you now,
More than you'll ever know,
I might be dismissing,
My dreams of change,
But maybe with you,
I can taste the rain.
