Daddy's been drinking again,
Mommy told me to tell her when.
So she could go hide in the den,
That's why she told me to tell her when.

Mommy and Daddy are fighting again,
So Mommy ran to her room with haste.
Daddy followed her in there, again,
And Mommy came out with marks on her face.

I ran to my bedroom again,
I closed my eyes and covered my ears.
I put my blanket over my head,
So Daddy and Mommy wouldn't see my tears.

Daddy came in my room again,
He started touching me in my "badlands",
He told me not to tell Mommy, again,
And said it wasn't sex 'cause he was using his hands.

They took away Daddy, again,
I tried to enjoy that there was no sorrow.
I was happy they took him, again,
But I know he'll be back tomorrow.
