Oh, Janitor

Oh, Janitor, your mop so clean,
You work so well, your face so lean,
You clean the school yard all day long,
And sing a beautiful, old fashion song.

You get the dirt up off the floor,
Your pay is getting more and more,
You scrape the grease off cafeteria trays,
We watch you working through all these days.

Even when us students are at home,
You are at school, working all alone,
We wish we could work as strong and well,
As the Janitor, who rings the school yard bell.

Even after we graduate,
We remember him and know he's great,
For never was their as good a cleaner,
As this guy with great demeanor.

Oh Janitor, Oh Janitor,
Whenever things messy would occur,
You'd be there with your mop in hand,
And clean off dirt or grease or sand.

Now we say sorry for all our pranks,
And since you cleaned them a simple thanks,
You'll always work at our junior high,
We'll come and visit until you die!
