I noticed you smiling yesterday
Then I noticed I wasn’t there
I saw you laugh the day before
And remembered you didn’t care
I felt our lives split apart
The end has come so near
All I did to stop this, was shed a shallow tear
I felt disappointment tower over me
An emotion I could not bare
I knew your love was faded
A little, if any left to share
And now that you have left me
Now that I’m alone
I wish that this problem that we had
Could have been postponed
