He loves her more than life,
more than the stars in the sky,
he loves her so much that without her,
he thinks he would die.
But she's got a feeling,
she wants something more,
she walked into trouble,
when she walked out the door.
She walked right out
on the best thing she had,
soon she'll find out
life wasn't all that bad.
She soon finds herself
in the arms of someone else,
she's got no one to blame,
no one but herself.
She walked right out on
such a great life,
just to end up
with a different guy every night.
She thought she wanted
something so much more,
but she broke his heart
when she shut the door.
She told him that she loved him,
but it would never work,
through his saddened eyes,
she could see the hurt.
He loved her more than life,
more than the stars in the sky,
but someday, he'll come to see,
he'll be alright.
