What am I doing,
I can't be like this,
I swore to myself,
I would not get like this again,
But I can't stop thinking about her.

Something about her,
It just draws me in.
She is the moon in my night,
She is the rainbow in the clouds,
She is the light at the end of the tunnel.

Cheri, From afar you came,
From a distance you entranced me,
And still at that distance,
I'll give you my heart,
To cherish and keep.

For you I prayed to god,
To let me find that word,
To find love again.
He has answered me.
I have found it,
And I use it first to tell you,
I love you.
