I will close my eyes
In hopes that I will see
Dreams, the life I wanted
In times I have yet to see

Feeling this world grow colder
As I struggle to remain free
Untouched by all the hardships
That this life has yet for me

Walking any distance
Telling any lie
Knowing that my friends are dying
Some price for an unknown crime

Caught beneath the current
pulled beyond the sea
Drowning oh so gracefully
With the knowlegde that it should be
