In this shadow only,
can I feel this cold goodbye.
I held my head up strongly,
but still began to cry.
I clutch this ring you gave me,
yet still I wonder why.
Why it was you left me,
and why it is I cry.
I know your living with me.
But for you this isn’t fair.
Bury you inside your lies?
This I wouldn’t dare.
I shall take your lifeless body,
and nail you to a chair.
As you sit there lifeless,
fire fucks the chair.
I become quite intoxicated.
From the smell of burning hair.
As I watch you closely,
your bones begin to bear.
And as I stand here steady.
I watch your soul turn to air.
All this because you left me,
and dared to run, scared.
So still I sit here smiling.
Because you were never there.
