Aisles And Aisles Of Plastic Smiles

And it's true,
I can never be as good as you.
Watching you slip and slide,
your own frozen blood.
I don't wish to watch
you spiral downward.
I'll meet you where the land meets the sky,
and I'll remember to ask you why.

A shield of darkness around you,
my love cannot deceive their plastic smiles.
As you cut and slash your beautiful wrists
I'll watch you fall to your knees,
I'll wait for you to beg me please,
'cause baby, you know it's true,
when we're here,
I'll never be good enough for you.
